Well, I can’t believe that it’s officially Christmas weekend. Where did the time go? I feel like I find myself saying each year that I wish I had one extra week to just enjoy everything. Maybe the solution would be to finish all of my shopping and wrapping a little earlier haha, but that is never the case. I’m so excited for all of the many Christmas traditions planned for this weekend. I can’t wait to see the joy in Madeline’s eyes on Christmas morning. She has been waking up extra early several days this week, and yesterday morning in particular, I told her all about the Christmas story and the real reason of why we celebrate Christmas. It was the sweetest thing, because she just sat in my lap listening and kept saying “bebe” when I was telling her all about Baby Jesus. It is amazing how the Lord can begin to work in the heart of our little ones. I just cherish each and every second like this one with Madeline.
