Why I Love Walmart+

I can’t believe we are officially half way through October and the most festive time of the year is upon us! All the holidays are near and that also means life is about to feel a bit busier. As a single mom who homeschools and works full-time, I am constantly looking for ways to help simplify life. Back in February, I decided to become a Walmart+ member, and let me just say it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made all year. If you are trying to juggle all of the hats you wear, allow Walmart+ to become a huge help in your life. It will not only save you so much time but also money. I’m excited to share a little more on why I love Walmart+ with you today 🙂
Walmart+ is truly the membership that pays itself off and the only membership you need in life. Why? Because it is packed full of benefits that will actually assist you in everyday life shenanigans. It saves you time and money! As the holidays are drawing near, it makes me happy knowing I’ll be able to put that time into doing fun, festive things with my daughter, as I continue to put my Walmart+ membership to great use in other areas that would normally pull me away from the things I love. It’s under $100 for the entire year and just trust me when I say, it’s SO worth it! I’ve already saved over $700 being a Walmart+ member over these past few months. The first benefit I want to mention is FREE DELIVERY from the store to your door ($35 minimum. Restrictions apply). That’s right, for orders of $35 and more, you can have anything from the store delivered to you without actually having to go. Not only is this great for your fresh grocery stock-up but also is wonderful if you just ran out of your mascara or want to grab that Walmart Fashion cardigan you’ve been eyeing. Add it on to that order with your groceries and have it all delivered directly to you 🙂 Free delivery from the store has been the best and saved me so much time (let’s face it, time is money).
This has so many times been a lifesaver when Madeline and I have some fun baking planned but do not have time to physically go to the store. We do so much holiday baking from Halloween all the way to Christmas, so Walmart+ will be so helpful! I don’t know about y’all but I also tend to have a hard time finding what aisle my groceries are on haha, so being able to simply search them in the Walmart App, add to cart and select deliver to me has simplified life for sure. And like I said, I also love being able to have my beauty products, household items, last minute gift ideas, fashion finds, travel necessities and more all delivered to me, same day.
I have also been able to meal prep better than every before with having all of my groceries delivered with Walmart+. Oh and there are no markups!
The next benefit I LOVE and also use weekly is taking advantage of FREE SHIPPING ONLINE (excludes most Marketplace items, location and freight surcharges). It’s no secret that I lOVE Walmart Fashion and am always shopping the latest arrivals. Normally you have to meet an order minimum, but not with Walmart+! Since Walmart Fashion is such an awesome price point, I so many times do not meet the order minimum, so being able to always have free shipping is huge and has saved me many shipping fees.
And just think with gift giving season coming up so soon, I know the free shipping benefit with Walmart+ will continue to be so helpful.
And how awesome is it being able to save on gas being a Walmart+ member?! From driving around town to traveling, it makes me so happy knowing I can save 10 cents a gallon at participating stations (5 cents savings in AL and OK only. Subject to change). There are over 14K participating stations nationwide, so it’s easy to find a location, even when traveling.
Now for those times when I do actually go to the store, yes there’s even an awesome benefit for us there. Being a Walmart+ member, you can actually hop on your Walmart app and checkout as you shop! This makes the whole shopping experience so much smoother. And again, saves time!! You can skip the line, scan your QR code, pay through your app and you’re out the door.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I do not know what I’d do without my Walmart+ membership. The benefits I mentioned above are just a few…there’s even more that come along with your membership! It’s so so so worth it.
