Happy Monday, friends! After a crazy week last week, I’m ready to start fresh with a new one today. I have a ton of assignments behind me, and after taking Madeline to the doctor over the weekend, her pediatrician prescribed her an antibiotic which has her feeling SO much better! She ended up having a sinus infection instead of just a regular cold, so after giving her the very first dose of her antibiotic, I could already see a huge difference in her congestion. I’m so thankful to see her feeling so much better. I felt so bad seeing her aggravated by it. This week I’m ready to officially start enjoying October! The weather has been cooling off a bit, and we are going to buy pumpkins and fall decorations for the front porch. That is one of my favorite things to do in October!
As for my outfit, I love the style of this dress! My Mama has always teased me about how I only wanted to wear orange when I was little. It was my very favorite color and I wanted all of my clothing to be orange. Everyone in my family is a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, so orange wasn’t a favorite color on their list. Pink is most definitely my favorite color now, but I do still love a crisp, fall shade of orange, simply because it reminds me of fall leaves. This dress is the cutest cut with the sleeves, ruffle hem, and tie at the waist. It is also under $100. I paired riding boots with it as well, and it was such a cute look! Also, these booties are the best. However, I want to point out that in the picture online, they look so dark and are much lighter in person. If I had seen them online, I would have passed them up (I purchased them in the store). But in person, they actually are a khaki suede with a distressed toe and heel…SO cute! The fringe just adds such a fun detail. They are also a great under $100 find.
