Happy Monday, Friends! Today I’m excited to share this gorgeous floral lace skirt. I absolutely love how the actual skirt is shorter but the lace overlay is more of like a midi skirt length. I think it is so elegant, feminine and classy. I just love the color as well! It is currently 50% off with the code “SPRING50”. This top is also a must have as it goes with so much! I have found several ways to dress it up or down. Also, don’t y’all just love a mustard yellow + a hint of turquoise pairing?
I don’t know about y’all, but I’m jumping into this week with a pretty nice size to-do list. Fingers crossed that I get everything done. Remember that spring cleaning I mentioned in my last post that I was set out to do? Well, a lot of it surprisingly got done. Even though every time I felt like I took one step forward I’d take two steps back (for instance, loading up an entire basket of clothes to be packed up and turning around two minutes later to Madeline taking each piece out), I somehow managed to get it done. She’s my little “helper” 🙂 I’ve learned that I simply have to step back, laugh and enjoy the little moments like that. Anyways, at the same time, I know that I can easily become stressed with tackling something I’ve set out to do, but my Mama always reminds me of this quote: “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” I have to remind myself of this and not to stress over the bigger picture, but to take it one task at a time. I think this is especially a valuable reminder for all the mamas out there.
I hope y’all have a great start to a new week!

LOVED this advice, Rachel. While our baby arrives in July, I already feel like I can't keep the house together! It's nice to know I'm not alone, and who cares if the struggle intensifies? One bite at a time!!

I am so very excited to see your baby, Kelly! I'm so excited for you and Mitch! And yes, always remember to put that baby first, even if it seems like everything is in complete chaos. 🙂
