Happy Tuesday, friends! With it officially being fall, I think about the changing of seasons. I always look forward to this time of year because I love the feeling of newness in the air. Have you ever thought about how God puts newness in our lives just in the same way with the seasons? When we examine our lives, we can divide them up into seasons…some we can’t wait to end and see change, others we never want to end. Whenever I’m seeing a season end and new things beginning, I’ve learned to be excited over them, just as I get excited for fall. Think of it this way, it’s a new time that God is going to work in your life to show you new and wondrous things of His plan for you. Remembering that “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1), I know that every new beginning brings an opportunity to experience God’s path He has set forth for us and a way for us to grow closer in our walk with Him. So, try not be afraid of change and instead, think of it as God working in your life. And always know that wherever you are, whatever you are going through, God is right there with you (Isaiah 41:10). God knows every ounce of your every day. So, fully trust in Him and wait for Him to complete His good work in you.
I hope that may have encouraged someone today!
Delightfully Yours,
Just the message I needed! Love the verses 😀
I remember several years ago when my husband lost his job. We were reading some articles on the internet and one phrase caught our eye. "With failure comes the opportunity for success." We applied this to what he was going through and it gave him the confidence to apply for higher level jobs. It worked! This biblical reading which discusses the "seasons" in our lives is so in alignment with the ups and downs which we have experienced in our lives. In the end everything always seems to work out for the better even if we can't understand why disappointing things happen at the time.
Lovely post!
Thank for this. So great to hear about God working in your life as I'm also in a rough season…thanks for not being afraid to share and for the inspiration
