Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope y’all are having a great week so far. Today I’m so excited to share a look that I wore this past weekend in the mountains. We had such an amazing time and especially enjoyed the cold weather. It was extra chilly and so much cooler than what we’ve been having at home. One of the days was super rainy and it was amazing to see the leaves turn so much more vibrant the very next day from all the rain. It was fall perfection haha!

Now for some details on today’s look. And yes, I’m very aware that I basically look like a walking fall leaf haha. It’s no secret that I love mustard yellow and also chenille! This mustard chenille cable knit sweater is like a dream come true. I absolutely adore it! It’s the softest thing and pairs perfectly with jeans or a skirt. It’s under $60 and runs TTS. It also comes in the most gorgeous shade of blue. Next up is this plaid scarf that I love. First of all, it is more on the light-weight side, making it easy to wear and doesn’t feel like you’re being choked. The colors are so gorgeous and vibrant! It pairs nicely with all the fall colors: yellows, browns, tans, oranges, reds, etc. It’s under $30! And thanks to the scarf, I was able to wear this chenille beanie with the scarf and sweater. It’s under $20. 

The last piece I have to mention from today’s look are my over the knee boots. Y’all, I have been searching for the perfect pair for the longest time. The Stuart Weitzman boots have been my dram boots, and I have been looking for a similar pair that doesn’t drain your bank account for years. Well, these are them! I don’t think I’ve ever been so pleased with a shoe purchase. They’re under $150 and are so similar to the almost $800 Stuart Weitzmans. I think I’m going to order them in black as well. A few things. One, they run TTS (I ordered the 38 and love the fit). Two, The shafts did feel a little tight when I first tried them on, but they stretched some once I wore them and feel more than perfect now. And lastly, just a heads up, if you do order them you have to be a little patient. Mine took three weeks to come in, due to the fact that they’re made to order.

Madeline also had so much fun. She started a fall leaf collection and wanted to pick up just about every vibrant fall leaf she found.
