Hairstyle Appreciation Day!

Do you ever look up the national holidays of the day that no one pays attention to?  I certainly do, and today is hairstyle appreciation day!  So, Happy Hairstyle Appreciation day!  Today, we can look back on all of the hairstyles throughout the years that have built up to the ways we wear our hair today.
And just so we all know, this is my very own Mama at the Augusta National years ago! I snatched this beauty out of the Augusta Chronicle’s article on fashion throughout the years at The Masters Golf Tournament. I just had to share 🙂
My name is Rachel, I was born in the 90s, the hairstyle for that decade is “The Rachel” made famous by Rachel Green from Friends…fitting don’t you think?
As simple as they are, these are my favorite ways to wear my hair:
1. Down with the ends flipped out
2. Pulled back with a bow
3. Pinning my bangs back with a cute pin
4. Loose curls
Share your favorite way to wear your hair, or your favorite hairstyle from the past!
Happy Hairstyle Appreciation Day!
Stay Tuned!

i love the way you do your hair! i usually just leave mine straight, sometimes it has a bit of wave in it if i dont straighten it. i wish i knew how to curl my hair and do cute things with it!

    XOXO

  2. I definitely learn something new every day from blogging. Considering I was wearing a baseball cap today with my hair down and straight, I don't think anyone appreciated the hair I was rocking 🙂
