Bonjour October!
October is my very favorite month out of the entire year. This is the time when fall seems to truly set in. I love to welcome its arrival. I get so excited to see pumpkins everywhere!
I wanted to do something fun to celebrate the first day of fall, but unfortunately, an economics test had my best interest for a portion of the day. As soon as that was out of the way, I remembered something I had been needing to do! Last week at Target in the dollar section, I stumbled across these darling little pails with a scalped border. Being scalloped, I fell for them immediately. I decided they would be cute for holding a small fall flower arrangement. After my econ test, I picked up a gorgeous bouquet of mixed fall flowers, some chrysanthemums, and a small spray of red roses. Flower arranging was perfect for the first day of fall! Have a look at how they turned out.
I just love the colors in the arrangement, and the pails were such a cute find. I am also thrilled that I included chrysanthemums in them as they’re my birthday flower (November).
I also accessorized myself with some new baubles I had picked up form Bauble Bar and my weekend getaway this past weekend. I felt accessorizing a fall outfit was another way to welcome in fall, right?
And to add to the fall festivities, Jaycee got a pumpkin!
I can’t contain my excitement for fall and the fact that October is finally here! I have more fall crafts in mind, like painting and decorating pumpkins. Fall is such a marvelous time of the year.
