Fear Less

Hey Friends! I’m here with some Tuesday inspiration for you. I hope that these Tuesday posts come at you just in time (right as the week is beginning and help you navigate through what the week may bring). Speaking of, if you’re like me, it’s so easy to think up worst case scenarios in your head with the worry of not knowing what may happen. I think it’s safe to say that is kind of a natural thing to do, but it is something I have been consciously working on. Why? Because it all leads to one thing…FEAR. It is so important to remember that fear is not of God as He does not want us to fear. Think of how many times releasing fear is mentioned in the Bible (Lamentations 3:57, Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 35:4, Psalm 34:4, and Joshua 1:9  just to name a few). I have come to the realization that fear ultimately takes away our joy, the joy that the Lord has graciously put into our lives. Satan wants to snatch that joy away from you, so that you will look away from the blessings of the Lord. Satan wants to distract you, and fear is most definitely a distraction from the joy we have in Jesus Christ. Try to remember this…when you are walking with the Lord and have given your life to Him, you must spend time with Him daily and meditate on His word. Memorize His word and keep it in your heart. This way, when you begin to “fear the worst,” remember God’s promises to you. That will bring you peace and peace will lead to joy. Friends, God does not want us to fear. Although it is so easy to fear in this world we live in today, remember who is in control and that He loves you and cares about every aspect of your life. He is watching over you….He is with you.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
~ Isaiah 41:10 ~
Remember this next time you start to fear 🙂
Delightfully Yours,

  1. You are right Rachel, we should not fear but it is very hard to do no matter how strong your faith. I really enjoy your faith messages as well as your fashion pictures and finds.
I was wondering if you could do a blog on how to pick an outfit that has jeans, a button down, a jumper. Will leave the shoes and accessories to you, it would help me put together my wardrobe in a better way.
    Thanks
