Trust

Have you ever had something really big on your heart with a fear of not knowing how or if it even will work out? I think we can all say yes to that. The big question is how do we go about handling these situations? Well, we don’t. We must trust in the one who is greater than all of these situations. The one who has known about them since the day we were born!
I recently had a huge prayer answered. It has been heavy on my heart for quite some time, and I really dreaded facing it, if it were to work in such a way that it could have. I had to trust, though. I had to trust that the Lord would work it out, and I did! I had to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). I had to also trust that the Lord would work in a certain person’s heart and that He would move that person to understand. I read once in the book Trusting God by Jerry Bridges, that if God can move the heart of a king (Proverbs 21:1), certainly He can work in anyones heart. Well, God proved that to be so true with this certain prayer I have been praying.
It is such a comfort to know that God is in control of these situations that we worry about and have no control over. So, if you’re feeling this way about a something in your life, trust that God is able to work it out for your good and His glory.
If anyone has an unspoken prayer request, I would love more than anything to pray along with you! I believe in the power of prayer, and I’m just an email away.
Delightfully Yours,
