Some Bunny Is One

Hello Friends! I’m so excited to be sharing a sneak peak into Madeline’s birthday party from this past weekend. I was able to snap a few pictures of the decorations and set-up before the party began, and my sister made sure we got a great shot of Madeline (literally) digging into her smash cake. I knew all along that I wanted to keep the colors of her party pink and gold. Not only do I have a deep love for pink and gold, but it has also been a color theme I’ve carried throughout this past year with her. With her birthday being so close to Easter, I thought it would be perfect to do a “Some Bunny Is One” party. And I quickly learned that there are a ton of pink and gold + some bunny is one decorations out there! Etsy was my best friend with most of the party planing. I’ve provided direct links to pretty much all of my decorations above. The adorable “some bunny is one” canvas was painted especially for Madeline by Jaclyn! I was also so excited that we were able to use the tulle table skirt from my baby shower! That was so special.
I used two fabulous local bakeries to create her birthday cake, smash cake, and the cookies for guests to take home. I also had a little station where the children could fill up boxes with Annie’s Bunny crackers to take home. The little boxes were decorated with pom-poms for the nose and tail and a bunny face, thanks to my Mama because I can not draw! Since some of the children that came to the party were a little older, I thought it would be a fun activity to make sock bunnies (Thanks Mrs. Heidi for helping with these)! Have y’all seen this tutorial on Pinterest?  The original tutorial calls for rice to stuff the bunnies with, but since the venue I rented prohibits rice, we used teddy bear stuffing. These were definitely a hit with the kids! I wish I had snapped a better photo of them. Madeline carried one around most of the party.
It was such a fun time celebrating sweet Madeline with family and friends. I think her favorite part of the party was the cake 🙂
I hope y’all are having a great week so far! Thanks for reading!
Delightfully Yours!
