Shirt Dress + Booties for Fall
Happy Monday, Friends! I hope y’all had a great Labor Day Weekend! I pretty much spent every ounce of free time that I had to myself studying. So, on Labor Day, I decided to not. do. a. thing. It was a nice little break, and the whole day was spend doing “summer things” with Madeline and a cookout with our family later on. I always think of Labor Day as a farewell to summer, and it has definitely been an amazing one packed full of memories with my Madeline that I will cherish forever. It definitely seems like she has grown into quite a little personality these past few months haha 💗
Onto the outfit details…this dress, y’all! I saw it online and instantly fell in love just because it’s gingham and a shirt dress. I don’t typically wear gingham into the fall, but this piece is definitely a fall gingham! The grey tone makes it just perfect for the season, and the fabric almost feels like a light flannel. It’s just perfect for this time of year and in to October. I love the way it looks paired with booties, and I will be pairing it with riding boots later on. It is also an affordable piece coming in at just over $60. I’m wearing a US size 2, for reference. Dresses like this make the transitioning into fall period not too bad 😏

I love how this look takes gingham and makes it look great for fall! And your hair is just too cute at this length! (I had a haircut similar to this a few years ago and it just did not work well on my hair texture- haha!)
