A Casual Thanksgiving

Happy Wednesday, Friends! I can’t believe we are almost to the weekend. Each year, I go back and forth between deciding if I want to dress up or stay casual for Thanksgiving. If you like to stay causal, then this outfit is what I refer to as the perfect casual Thanksgiving outfit. The great thing about wearing denim with a loose sweater or a poncho like the one I’m wearing here is that you can eat all of the turkey, casseroles and pie that you want without looking stuffed in what you’re wearing haha. This poncho is so cozy and is under $100. I love wearing ponchos because I literally feel like I’m wrapped up in a cozy blanket all day long. If you prefer to dress up a little for Thanksgiving, I have an outfit coming to the blog on Friday that is perfect for just that, so stay tuned.
What do y’all have planned for the rest of the week? I’m so excited because we leave today for our annual family vacation to Virginia. It has become a yearly tradition that we do each year right before Thanksgiving. It is absolutely magical because the quaint little town is right in the middle of Thanksgiving and Christmas, so everything is SO festive! The food is amazing and not to mention, there’s some great shopping. I’m so excited to get away.
