TGIF everyone!! I’m especially excited for this weekend, because Sunday is the first day of October!! I’m hoping that once October hits, the weather will get the memo and finally start to cool off some haha. On days that I’ve taken photos for the blog, I tend to leave on a cardigan that we shot in for awhile. Then I start to burn up and become fed up with pretending that it’s cool out haha. Anyways, I absolutely love the month of October and all the fun that it brings.
I had been on the hunt for the perfect dress that I could wear underneath cardigans. I have so many cardigans, but pairing them with jeans everyday can become a but tiresome. I found this tank dress, and let me just say, it’s more than amazing! It is a body-con dress, which I don’t usually go for, but the ruched details in the front make it so perfect! I love the way it looks paired with cardigans. It comes in a handful of colors and is only $56. This color goes with pretty much every cardigan I have. Speaking of cardigans, the rose pink color of this one is so gorgeous. It’s also incredibly cozy. I love the way it looks with a cami and jeans or layered with a button-up top. Oh, and it’s only $51 🙂
I also have to mention the bracelets I’m wearing! I introduced them to y’all a few weeks back, but my talented friend, Jaclyn, has done such an incredible job with her jewelry line, Frazier Lynn. I’m more than obsessed with them and adore the way they coordinate with this look. These colors are matching everything for fall. She has some new designs coming out soon, so stay tuned!
I hope y’all have a nice weekend! I could really use a day of doing nothing, but I think I’m more scared of falling behind, especially with school. Every weekend there’s so much due that I feel as if I simply can’t catch a break. Maybe I underestimated what would come along with taking on six classes this semester haha? My Mama told me an amazing bit of advice a few years back: “Never overload your plate with too many tasks at once, because if you can’t finish them, you’ll be left feeling like you didn’t accomplish anything at all.” I took this to heart especially after having Madeline. But I have been needing to remember this now more than ever. I have been doing just that: setting out to do so much within one day that I go to bed that night feeling defeated. Do any of y’all do this as well? I’m basically feeling like a hot mess haha, but then I look at Madeline and know that everything I’ve set out to do is for her. But I wish I could just stop for a second to catch my breath. What do y’all do to keep yourself on track without becoming too burnt out? I’d love to know 🙂
Have a great Friday! Thanks for stopping by.
Delightfully Yours,
