Happy Tuesday, Friends! I hope y’all are having a great week so far. Today I’m styling one of my favorite trends for fall: suede! I absolutely love all things suede. I purchased this darling faux suede skirt a few weeks ago. Now that the weather is finally starting to cool off, I am breaking it out and pairing it with so many different pieces. I adore the way it looks paired with a cropped sweater, like the one I’m wearing here. I also love the way it looks paired with a feminine blouse or with a plaid button down for a more casual look. And of course, I love it layered with a vest. I purchased this faux fur vest the same time that I purchased this skirt, and I am obsessed with it! Seriously, the styling options are endless for this fun, flirty skirt. It is under $80 and also comes in black.
This sweater is also one that I’m in love with. I was a bit hesitant to purchase it after seeing the reviews it had received, but I’m so glad that I did not listen to them and decided to give this cutie a try. It is cropped, making it on the shorter side, but that makes it so perfect for tucking into skirts as I’m doing for this post. The details of this piece are gorgeous, and of course it pairs perfectly with all sorts of scarves 🙂
It is finally starting to cool off a bit here. By cooling off, I mean in the low 70s and 40s at night. Even though it’s not that cool, it certainly is a huge break from the 90 degree temps and humidity we have been having. That alone is a reason to celebrate 🙂 Yesterday, we took Madeline to pick out her pumpkin. She had such a blast looking at all of the different shapes and sizes and picked out her favorite one. She chose a huge one and also couldn’t leave without a mini pumpkin or two. The mini ones have always been my favorites, and I think Madeline feels the same. She is so excited for Halloween and won’t stop talking about what she’s going to be. I absolutely love this time of the year! I just want to bottle it up and hang on to it for forever. It’s such a festive time and there’s so much to look forward to 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
Delightfully Yours,
