Bell Sleeve Sweater (Under $40) // Jacquard Skirt // Suede Boots // ZAC Zac Posen Bag (25% off with the code FRIENDS) // Monogram Necklace // Gold Filigree Earrings C/O
Hello friends and happy October! I don’t know about y’all, but October is one of my two favorite months out of the entire year!! I love waking up to crisp, cool mornings (patiently waiting for Georgia to decide to stay cool all throughout the day haha), pumpkin patch fun, a trip to the mountains, Halloween and so much more!
I also get giddy with excitement to bring out some of my favorite fall looks. This look I am featuring today is one that I have been so excited to share. I have recently become obsessed with pairing slouchy sweaters with skirts. This bell sleeve sweater is only $39 and also comes in a gorgeous lilac! However, I’m a bit biased towards the burnt orange color…it’s one of my favorites for fall! This sweater also looks adorable with denim and leopard shoes or paired with a leopard scarf. I love the bold statement that this skirt and sweater paired together makes. And one last thing to mention: my ZAC Zac Posen bag is currently 25% off with the code FRIENDS. It sold out during the Shopbop sale last week, because it’s seriously such an amazing bag. But I was able to find it on sale somewhere else, and it will be on sale through October 9th.
Since it’s finally October, something else that I wanted to share with y’all is a movie that Madeline and I love to watch this time of the year. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen where I shared this over on my IG stories. Have y’all ever seen Spookley the Square Pumpkin? I know it’s sort of an older movie, but I watched it on TV with Madeline fir the first time last year right around Halloween. We loved it so much that I ordered it to have for this year. It’s the sweetest movie that is all about a square pumpkin named Spookley, and his friends won’t accept him because he’s square and not round. Anyways, he ends up proving how awesome he is, and in the end is chosen by the farmer to be showcased on the front porch for everyone to see since he is square and so unique. I won’t give all of the details away, but my favorite part of the whole movie is the last line that says, “…and maybe one day we all will discover that you can’t judge a book, or a pumpkin, by its cover.” It’s seriously the sweetest little movie, and it always makes me cry at the end haha. It’s such a great message as well. If you’ve never seen it, I highly recommend it! Your kids will love it, and I promise you will too 🙂
I hope y’all have an great day! Thanks for stopping by.
Delightfully Yours,
