New Obsession – Miriam Haskell New York
When in New York two weeks ago, I fell in love with a collection at Henri Bendels that I had never heard of. Each piece in the Pearl Legacy collection by Miriam Haskell is absolutely breathtaking! I could barely contain myself when sorting through all of the delicate, classy pieces. The story behind each piece is even more exciting! As the sales associate at Bendels said it, Miriam Haskell designed her pieces along with Coco Chanel. She created classy pieces for the society women of her day. Each piece is antique and a collectors item. Sadly, Miriam passed away in the 80s but left all of her designs to the design team. Now, each piece has been brought back for us to enjoy and remains such a classy statement. As it is said, these pieces are “Tomorrow’s Collectables Today.” You can read more about Miriam’s facsinating design history here.

My Mama surprised me with a Miriam Haskell piece for my birthday, and let me just say, I never want to take it off! This is the breathtaking pearl strand I received.
