I absolutely love building an Easter Basket. First of all, I have an obsession with finding cute Easter baskets. My collection keeps growing, so since I’m basically stocked up on Easter baskets for life, deciding what to fill them with is the best part! As much as I love chocolate, I’m not exactly the candy type. Yes, I do throw in a few chocolate eggs here and there, but I love seeing my recipient’s face when I hand over the basket and somewhere in the Easter grass is a fun surprise! Without any further ado, let me share some nifty surprises to fill your preppy basket with this year.
- A cute basket! Make sure your basket is exciting, but don’t spend too much on the basket itself.
- It’s a must to top your basket off with a bow, but how about using a hair bow instead!
- Now for a fun surprise! Jelly Beans are a great Easter candy, but I’d rather have a necklace that resembles jelly beans! This J.Crew statement necklace does just that! A pair of Lilly Pulitzer sunglasses would also be a perfect surprise since spring has sprung (despite the cold weather). Or nothing says Happy Easter like this vintage pearl bunny brooch!
- Now for the fun little surprises, a pair of Vineyard Vines Croakis, a Lilly Pulitzer Koozie, Hair Pins, a bunny ring holder, or some LUSH Bath Fizzies will surely put a smile on your recipient’s face. And don’t forget your pup! Surprise her with some doggie cookies, a necklace, a bunny chew toy, or a hair bow!
How are you building your Easter baskets this year?
