Pattern Play
Today, I want to share a few ideas on pattern play. I absolutely love to do this with my outfits. In fact, the outfit I’m wearing today inspired me to write this post. I think pattern play is a great way to keep the outfit from being boring. Polka dots, being a basic print, are a great way to start off the outfit…a polka dot button down (my black & white polka dot button down is my very favorite)! Then I like to choose a bright colored sweater to add some color. After that, I decide on another pattern for the shoes. I love to pair my black and white houndstooth (pictured below) flats with it. Then, add an accessory, such as the Vickers bows, to tie in one of the patterns. See it all below!

Love your picks! Those houndstooth flats are amazing.
Love the combinations! I'm just starting to really mix prints (I'm more of a solid blouse, solid sweater kind of person), but it's really fun to switch things up. And a polka dot or plaid shirt looks great under anything!
