Happy Tuesday, Y’all! I’m bringing a little word of encouragement your way. Through the busy times of life, especially this week for me as I have one more final to go, it is so easy to let frustration get to you. Suddenly, the things you really want to do get put on the back burner as the things you have to do take center stage. That’s the way I have been feeling the past week and a half or so as studying and few other things have been “in the way,” if you will. I can honestly say that what gets me through is remembering God’s word. God’s word is powerful! It is the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path (Psalm 119:105), it is our shield (Psalm 18:30), and we are to take hold of it with all our hearts (Proverbs 4:4). I love to pick one verse and keep it on my mind to recite throughout the day. Not only does it bring guidance and comfort, but it also gives me an opportunity to really think about it as I relate it to my thoughts and actions throughout my day.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, pick a verse, keep it on your heart, and focus on the meaningful ways it can relate to your day.
Delightfully Yours,
i love your faith posts — they always inspire me! I'll be keeping this in mind while taking my finals!
