Matching In Lilly: Lovers Coral

YAY it’s Friday, Friends!! And just to show my excitement for the weekend, I’m sharing probably my very favorite Lilly Pulitzer print this year, Lovers Coral. Want to know a secret? Anything Lilly that I have bought this season may or may not have had something to do with matching Madeline. For as long as I’ve loved Lilly, I have always hoped that the day would come to where I could match my daughter in Lilly. I just can’t resist the baby shifts! When I saw the baby shift in Lovers Coral, I fell in love with this print because it is so bright and happy (as most Lilly prints are). But I just love the colors in this one! So, I had been wanting a new Elsa top (I recently sold most of the ones I have), and I love the Elsa top in Lovers Coral. 

Here’s a funny story! As we were taking these pictures, the gardenia bushes next to us caught Madeline’s attention. I’ve mentioned before that Madeline loves flowers! And since gardenias are so fragrant, she was intrigued. She kept sniffing them then handing it to me to smell. This little game of smelling the gardenia was so funny to her, even after twenty or so times. 😊 She would sniff it, hand it to me to smell, take it back to sniff again, then try to give it to her Mimi who was taking the pictures.
