Happy Monday, Friends! Goodness the weekend flew by! Madeline had cold this past week, so we tried to take it easy this weekend. I am so happy she is feeling better…there’s nothing worse than seeing your baby sick. It definitely seems like we’ve hit the ground running today (anyone else? 🙋🏼). This week I’m swamped with deadlines for school, and this coming weekend I’m hosting a bridal shower with my Mama, so it’s go go go all week long. I hope y’all had a good weekend!
As for my outfit ramblings…fall and wearing plaid just go hand in hand. I always love incorporating plaid pieces into my fall wardrobe. This top couldn’t be any more perfect. I was thinking of some styling ideas for it, and I absolutely love the way it looks tied like this with denim. It also looks so cute paired with a vest. And I also love the way it looks tucked into this skirt. It’s just one of those pieces that you could wear three times in one week and not get sick of it. Also, in the past I have always been hesitant to wear any pair of booties that isn’t a shade of brown, black or grey. But I have been loving burgundy so much for fall that I decided to give these a try, and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love them, and they’re under $90. And I finally found the perfect wool floppy hat that doesn’t flop in your face. 😊
