Hello and happy Tuesday! I apologize for my lack of posting yesterday. Madeline and I went home for the weekend and flew back to Florida for a few more days. It was Madeline’s first time flying, and with factoring in the delays of both of our flights and a very fussy toddler, we were worn out by the time we finally got back! Madeline had about ten meltdowns in the airport (and I may have had one or two lol), but we made it! Anyways, I hope y’all had a fantastic weekend 🙂
Since I have been at the beach for quite some time and have collected a few adorable swimsuits, I thought it would be fun to share one of my favorite beach looks on here with y’all. Let me begin with saying, please excuse my embarrassing tan lines haha. I had the idea of getting the perfect tan while down here, but that hasn’t been as easy as I had planned haha. My time in the sun consists of chasing Madeline around, unless she’s content under the umbrella or tent. But the time on the beach with her has been so much fun, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Chasing her around and seeing her fall in love with the beach has been the highlight of my trip.
Now for a little bit about the look…am I the only one who hates swimsuit shopping?! I probably ordered ten suits before finding one or two that I absolutely loved. Swimsuit shopping can be such a pain. Not to mention, I feel awkward in just about every swimsuit that I try on haha. One pieces used to always be a safe choice, but with them being ever so popular nowadays, some can be a bit too revealing. Anyways, I find it very difficult to find a swimsuit that I love. This one, however, checked all the boxes. I absolutely love the bright tropical print of this one. From laying out by the pool or heading off to some tropical destination, this one is perfection! The details in the front are fun without being too revealing. But what I love most is the back!!! It has the strappy appearance without dipping down too low. It’s such a gorgeous suit! This kimono is also a favorite purchase of mine. It’s under $40 and comes in several colors. The details are just fabulous! My older pair of Jack Rogers are my go-to shoe for my beach/swim looks. This pair has been well-loved for years and years. But they are still just as amazing (and much more comfortable) as the first day I wore them 🙂
Anyways, I hope y’all enjoyed this look! Let me know if you would like to see more beach/swim looks.
Thanks for stopping by!
Delightfully Yours,
