Striped Maxi (Also here) // Straw + Rope Tassel Sandals // Straw Tote // Kendra Scott Necklace // Baublebar Earrings (Also love these) // Sunglasses (Under $100) // Kendra Scott Cuff // David Yurman Bracelet
Happy Tuesday! I hope y’all had a fantastic weekend and are having a great start to the new week. Today’s post is featuring the most amazing midi dress. Being 5’2, I tend to lean towards buying midi dresses. They are long enough to be the length of a maxi dress on me without requiring any alterations to shorten the length. It’s a win win right? 🙂 Anyways, when I came across this one, I knew that I just had to have it for my time at the beach. I’m so happy that I made the decision to purchase this cutie, because it has been more than perfect for going out to eat at our favorite dinner spots. It’s easy enough to dress down, or dress up a with a pair of sandals such as these straw tassel sandals (obsessed!!). I actually did end up pairing this dress with my Miller Sandals and loved the look equally as much. Anyways, it’s a bit over my usual budget (I always try to keep my tops and dresses under $100), but I can tell you that this dress is worth every penny!
We’re still in Florida, and it seems like our time here is just flying by! I can’t begin to describe the sweet moments that I will hold on to for forever. There’s just something about the innocence of seeing your child experience the beach. The way Madeline interprets the world around her absolutely melts my heart. For instance, when we’re standing at the waters edge, she looks at the waves that are washing up and says they are the “baby waves.” She then points to the larger waves that are further out and just breaking to say that they are the “mommy waves.” The things that come out of her little mouth these days…:)
Thanks for stopping by!
