Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a great weekend! We are officially back from the beach and goodness am I missing it! It’s so hard to leave and think that it will be another year before you’re back again. But you just have to keep on swimming, right? 🙂
Today’s look is featuring my go-to style tip that I have come to love as a mom: separates!! I absolutely love buying up cute, breezy tops for summer to pair with my shorts and pants. I mentioned on here two weeks ago that I have fallen for high waisted pants and shorts. They’re simply a mom’s dream haha. These shorts are one of the two high waisted pairs I have purchased, and I LOVE them! They do have a button-up fly instead of a zip-up one, but that isn’t as scary as it sounds. I actually love that they have this feature. And let me just say that this crochet top is even more adorable in person!! The crochet detailing is simply perfection. It also looks adorable paired with white denim, and I wore it with white shorts on our car ride home the other day. It just screams summer 🙂
Anyways, now that we’re back home, I’m trying to line up some fun summer activities to do with Madeline. Do any of y’all have recommendations for fun summer activities with young children? It’s so difficult to beat the heat this time of year, but I’d love to hear any ideas you may have 🙂
