Ruffle Shift Dress (Under $60) // Nude Pumps (Under $100) // Straw Clutch // Earrings (similar) // Pearl Bracelet // Pearl Necklace // David Yurman Bracelet
Happy Wednesday! It feels so strange to be getting back into the swing of things today. Am I the only one? I have a hunch that I’m not 🙂 With July 4th falling at the beginning of the week, I feel like we should already be to the weekend haha. Anyways, I hope y’all had a fantastic Fourth!
I was debating on what to title this post: “Pastel Stripe Shift Dress” or “What To Wear To A Summer Wedding.” Obviously I went with the first, but I had to mention this as I feel like this is the perfect outfit to wear to a summer wedding! However, the list goes on. It’s perfect for church, bridal luncheons, out to a fancy dinner, and so much more! I think shift dresses are so versatile, and it’s a great idea to always keep a few on hand in your closet. This sweet pastel one caught my eye immediately! It’s pretty obvious that I love pastels, and this color combination just stands out! I mean, have you ever seen such a pretty array of pastels in one piece of clothing? The bold stripes with the gentle pastels create the most gorgeous statement of a shift dress ever. I also adore the ruffle detail, of course. The way that the ruffle lays so nicely just adds the most gorgeous touch! This dress is impeccable, both in quality and detail. And it falls in the under $60 category. It is simply stunning!
Well, I hope y’all have a great Wednesday even though it feels as if it should be Saturday. But hang in there, the weekend is just around the corner 🙂 I still am trying to get into the swing of things for my class. I’m having to take a physical activity summer course. When I was completing my core classes a ways back, I put off my physical activity classes like a crazy person, and now I’m having to knock them out! The class I’m in is “fitness,” and I am just not used to the types of high intensity training and weight training that we’re doing. I absolutely love to go for walks and runs, but this just isn’t what I’m used to. Trying to motivate myself by considering it to be my daily workout and putting me that much closer to graduation next spring 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by, y’all!

This dress is just so unique and pretty! I love the colors and that asymmetrical ruffle- a winner all around!
Very very pretty Rachel. I like this dress honey. Now would you consider this a party dress or would you also wear this to church services? Just curious.
What a stunning dress! I totally feel you on putting off courses…I was on my last semester as a senior about to graduate and I found out that as a senior I had to take one last foreign language course…I was the only senior in the class with tons of freshman! Oh well, at least the French is still pretty fresh on my mind 🙂
