Hello friends and happy MAY! Goodness I can’t believe that we are already to May. I have been so excited for this month to finally get here. There are so many exciting things happening this month! I know I have been MIA on here over the past week. Last week was one of the craziest weeks I have ever had in my entire life. School basically consumed me. It drained me both physically and emotionally. The balance of being a mom and being in school has never been the easiest, but last week, it was the most difficult it has ever been. But the good news is that I turn in my last assignment on Friday!!! I couldn’t be more excited and seriously cannot believe all of this hard work is about to pay off. I was thinking about how it’s already May and how it’s been about three months since I began my senior project for one of the three classes I’m taking. Three months ago I didn’t know if I was going to make it through, but I am so thankful for my Savior who never fails to carry me through. I owe it all to Him! I have a feeling that May is going to be a very good month 🙂

Now for a little bit about today’s look. I don’t think that I could start off the month of May with a more perfect look than this darling emerald green ruffle gingham dress. Let me tell y’all, I got more compliments on this dress in one day than I ever have with any dress I’ve owned. I wore it to the mall, and I got stopped 18 times to be told how adorable it is and/or where did I get it from! But I can see why, because it seriously is too cute for words. I simply love every detail about it. The fit, the color, the ruffles, the fact that it’s gingham…the list goes on. But are y’all ready for the best news?! So, I purchased it during the Shopbop sale that happened a few weeks ago. I was going to link it and realized that’s all sold out. BUT I found it from another store where it’s not only in stock in all sizes, but it is also 40% off the already sale price,  making it only $52!!! I couldn’t believe it and got so excited to share it with y’all. I couldn’t recommend this dress enough. It runs TTS (wearing the XS for size reference).

I also picked up this darling wicker basket bag. I have a thing for cute wicker/straw bags and absolutely cannot resist a cute one. This one is under $70 and also comes in a lighter wicker with black trim. It’s sooo cute! It holds just enough, as well. Such a cute spring/summer staple!

I also have to mention Madeline’s little outfit, as always. Is her little pinafore dress not the cutest thing?! It does run a little small, so I got her the 3/4 years instead of the 2/3. It’s simply the cutest thing! And If you have a little girl, I couldn’t recommend this ruffle sleeve t-shirt enough! It’s currently 25% off with the code “HOORAY” and comes in several colors! Madeline has worn this one with so many looks. She also adores her Mini Melissa shoes because they’re scented. Every time someone compliments her shoes, she says “smell them!” haha. This pair matches so many of her looks.
