Happy Thursday, guys! Who else is super excited that we’re almost to the weekend? We have been having the rainiest week ever. I hate when it rains throughout the day. I don’t mind it at night, because it can be so relaxing. There’s nothing I love more than cuddling up on the couch with Madeline and Jaycee while it’s raining out. But during the day when I’m trying to be productive, it doesn’t help with getting stuff done haha. I have been dragging this week, mostly because of the yucky weather. I’m hoping for some sunshine this weekend to get some outside fun in with Madeline 🙂
Anyways, I’m back with another outfit today that is absolutely perfect for transitioning to fall. Before I go any further, I must say that this top is most definitely one of my top five favorite tops that I’ve ever owned. It simply does not get any cuter than this. I think if I were a top, this is what I’d look like haha. There’s nothing I love more than a simple white top with some added fun detail. This top is definitely my definition of just that. The brown/taupe gingham print, the ruffles and the peplum detail have this top deserving all the heart eyes. I love it for now with boyfriend jeans and sandals or jean shorts and booties for transitioning. And I will be wearing it again early fall with jeans and boots. It is too cute for words, and trust me when I say you need it in your life! It runs TTS and is under $80. Just go ahead and call me the gingham queen because if I had to wear gingham every single day of the week, I’d be totally fine with it haha.
I also wanted to share my favorite way to style a pair of boyfriend jeans. With boyfriend jeans giving a more relaxed, masculine look, I love to add in a feminine touch when styling them. Pairing your boyfriend denim with ruffle detailed top or a top with some other feminine detail adds the perfect mix of the two. I absolutely love it! Another favorite of mine is to pair my boyfriend jeans (a looser fit) with a more fitted top so that you have looser on the bottom and a tighter fit on the top. These boyfriend jeans are the most amazing pair I’ve ever owned! They’re absolute perfection and fit like a glove. They’re on sale through Sunday, so grab them while you can! I would have never spent the money on these full price, so the sale made decide to purchase these. Be sure to size down one size.
Lastly, my bag is the perfect fall accessory and holds soooo much. It is on sale for $42. My sandals are also on sale for under $80 and are the perfect transition show.
