Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope y’all are having a great start to the new week. I have my fingers crossed that this week won’t be as crazy as last week was. Although it is a busy one, I’m hoping it will be a great one. The sunshine has been shining the past few days, so I’m SO thankful for that. It’s amazing what a difference even good weather can make haha.
Today I am excited to style a dress that is perfect transitioning into fall. But before I get started on the details, I have to share that it was just marked down to $68!! I paid full price for this one but am so excited that y’all have the chance to get it on sale. The yellow makes it more than perfect for transitioning, especially when paired with some booties. First off, I love the puff cold shoulder sleeve details. I think it’s just the cutest touch! I also love the pleated details of this dress as they add such a flirty flare. But what I love most are the tortoise buttons going up the front…absolutely adorable! Oh and I must mention that this dress also has pockets, which is a huge win in my book. I would say that this brand runs a little on the smaller side. I always go up one size, which is what I did for this dress and it fits perfectly. The fact that the straps are adjustable help so much.
These booties are my new go-to! They were actually my last minute and very last purchase from the NSale. But I’m so glad that I made the decision to grab them up. They go with everything and are the perfect transition shoe! The shape of the heel is gorgeous. I have them in the French Taupe Suede color, and they pair up nicely with so many looks.
Also, since I just got my hair cut last week, I also thought it would be fun to share a little bit about some of my favorite hair products. One of my most asked questions is what hair products I use. I use all Bumble and bumble products. I’ll share the ones I love and always have on hand below.
These three products are the ones I love to use before I dry my hair. I either use the tonic lotion primer or the thickening spray depending on what mood I’m in haha. I love the tonic lotion primer because it always has an impact on my curls. I love the thickening spray for that very reason, it does wonders if you have more of a fine hair texture! The primer also serves as heat protectants. After I spray one of these on my wet hair, I then spray the Surf Foam Spray into my roots as it adds the best texture! It also adds so much volume to my hair and helps to make my curls last. Even if I’m wearing it straight that day, it will still help to add so much volume. It’s amazing!
If I’m wanting to give my hair a little break, then I will only use the repair blow dry product. It is great for just giving your hair a break. It makes my hair feel so nourished and healthy. It doesn’t do that much for volume and styling, but it is great for simply giving your hair a rest.
This product can get a little pricey as I tend to go through a can so quickly. But I have decided that I can’t do without this stuff. It is AMAZING! Again, if you have fine hair or just need to add some texture and life to your hair haha, you need to try the Dry Spun Finishing Spray! It adds texture as a dry shampoo would, but it does so without making your hair feel dirty. I love to use this on my hair after I have styled it. So, after I’ve curled my hair or after I’ve added in the hot rollers and straightened the desired pieces (for wearing it straight), I’ll spray this stuff throughout to add a messier, more effortless look. I let than set for a few minutes then gently run my fingers through it to calm it down. Then I have the most amazing volume and texture. It also helps to keep my hair styled throughout the day. It’s seriously amazing! It also makes me use less hairspray, so I like to look at it as I am saving money on hairspray since I use this haha.
I would normally never use a firm hold hairspray, but what’s so great about this one is that fact that it doesn’t give your hair that stiff, yuck feeling. It’s amazing! I use this one every day and love the results. Not to mention, it smells sooo good!
Well, products are all I use! I always have them stocked up and have been using them for months/years. I know Bb products can get pricey, but if you’re looking for some good, high quality hair products, they are well worth it. If I had to recommend just two, I’d say go with the Bb Tonic Lotion Primer and the Dry Spun Finish Spray.
I hope y’all found this helpful! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday!
Delightfully Yours,
