Hello hello and happy Thursday friends! Ya know, just casually getting my first post of the week up on Thursday haha. Believe it or not, I had four posts lined up for this week but goodness it’s been a whirlwind of a week! With that being said, I’ve got a post for y’all today and tomorrow, thennn next week is a brand new week 🙂 But nonetheless, I hope y’all are having a great one!
I’m extra excited to be sharing the most perfect mommy and me transition into fall looks today. I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’re all very excited for fall and cooler weather (can I get an amen!). But it’s still so super hot. My go-to look right now is shirts or a scrappy dress, and I take a cardigan along with me to wear, especially if we’re going to a restaurant (always cold in restaurants, I feel). So today’s look is just that!
One of my favorite ways to create looks for me and Madeline to match/coordinate is to alternate the ways we match. For example, instead of both wearing a leopard top, green shorts, and leopard shoes, I wear a denim shirt, green shorts and leopard shoes, while Madeline wears a green shirt, leopard shorts and green shoes. See what I did there?! We alternate! And it’s so so fun. I feel like it also makes for a look that’s so appeasing to the eye. You glance at it, and at first you can’t quite figure out how it’s working but you just know it’s all working together so well, if that makes sense haha. So it’s one of my favorite ways to coordinate with my favorite girl. Spice things up a little 🙂
