Happy Thursday, friends!! I hope y’all are having a great week so far. I can’t believe we are almost to September. I’m extra excited about it because it means we’re that much closer to fall 🙂 I’ve never been a huge fan of the month of August, in general, so I welcome September with open arms haha. And we’re just that much closer to October as well. I can’t wait to start fall decorating and getting in the fall mode, which I tend to do once September arrives. What about y’all? Do y’all jump on in once September hits or hold off to October-ish more? Since college football season has started back up as well, I feel like it becomes a little more acceptable too haha.
Well speaking of fall, today I’m excited to share three fall closet staples I feel everyone needs in their closets. One, this long, side slit cardigan. Two, this ultra soft plaid button up top. And three, a brown Corduroy skirt 🙂
First up, THIS CARDIGAN! Oh my word, it is amazing. If you follow me over on IG and tune into my try-ons, you’ve probably seen me style it a handful of ways. It’s just THAT cardigan. Rust is so in for fall, and it pairs with so many looks. It’s under $30 and also comes in ivory (which I own as well) and black. It’s simply amazing.
Next up, this button up plaid shirt. Again an amazing piece for under $20. It’s ultra soft and one you won’t feel like you’re suffocating in as it layers so well, being the breathable material it is. It’s TTS and comes in a handful of plaid prints! Such an amazing piece, and the colors just scream fall.
I also feel that a brown cord skirt is a piece everyone needs in their closets! I purchased this amazing one last year and am planning to get all the use out of it again this year. However, I did find this one that’s under $50 and so similar. I actually ordered it to compare the two and I can say it’s amazing. But I did find that it runs small. Be sure to size up one size.
And don’t forget your mini me!! Madeline has this cord skirt in every color. It’s precious and on sale for under $20!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a great day, friends!
Delightfully Yours,
