Recent Happenings
I haven’t done a “Recent Happenings” post for quite some time. This is the post where I like to share a few of the little things that have been going on in my life, and I share them by showing my Instagram pictures. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve most likely seen these, but in this post, I get to tell a little more about each one which is something I don’t do on Instagram. Without further adieu, here are few of my recent happenings.

I have been so excited to wear my tartan bow skirt from Vineyard Vines. I wore this the first time in The White Crane Christmas commercial, and I wore it here to a chapter meeting and out to dinner. Since Christmas time and wearing tartan go hand in hand, it has become my favorite holiday skirt!

In this picture on Instagram, I expressed much excitement! This Kate Spade ring in actually a flash drive. I was most excited because it held my presentation that went along with my speech, which was the very last speech I had to give for the semester. I am not a fan of public speaking, so checking Communications 1020 off my list was a celebratory moment for me.

This past weekend, I took a quick trip to Atlanta. One of the highlights of this trip was getting to see Elizah and the Lilly Jeep! This cutie pie is my friend Sh’Lika’s little girl. Sh’Lika works at Lilly Pulitzer at Phipps Plaza. It is always a treat to go see her. She has her own jewelry line, Elizah Faith Designs, that I can’t wait to share more about.

I also picked up these glass ornaments from Anthropologie while in Atlanta. I love how simplistic and sweet these are.

I love my Spirit Jersey from Personalized From Me To You. It is so comfortable. I find this, along with my fleece VV vest, being my favorite study outfit.

I love the outfits where I can add a pop of color. Although the jeweled collar button down dolled up the black and white sweater some, I felt it needed some color as I added it with this fun statement piece from the Kate Spade factory store.

Jaycee knows how to dress for Christmas. This little sweater from Ralph Lauren looks so precious on her.

I am a sucker for phone accessories. I came across this Kate Spade bow phone accessory on the internet a while back, and to my disappointment, it was an older item that had been out of stock for quite some time. During my Black Friday shopping at the Kate Spade factory store in Williamsburg, VA, I found it! It is my favorite Black friday purchase.
