Cozy In Cashmere + Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale

Happy Monday, Friends!  Well, it has finally felt like winter outside these past couple of days, so I cozied up in this cashmere cardigan yesterday.  I’ll come back to the cardigan, but first, allow me to introduce to you my favorite pair of shoes.  Is this not the cutest pair you’ve ever seen?!  I have been meaning to do a post on them for quite some time now, but I’m kind of happy that I waited, because they are now super on sale.  And I’m talking like 70% off with pretty much every size still available. I mean seriously, they’re pink, gold AND leopard!!  Okay now that my rant about these shoes is over, allow me to get back to this cardigan.  I purchased it for $70ish (regularly $250+) during the last big Lilly Pulitzer sale.  Well, guess what?!  Today is the beginning (and end as it only lasts one day) of the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale!  I’m super excited, because I’m hoping to grab up another cardigan similar to this one.  Anyways, here are a few of my tips for shopping the sale today:

1. Remember that when you enter this sale, you will be placed in a virtual line.  Please, do not get discouraged when you see that there are 40,000+ other Lilly lovers ahead of you.  Just be patient, and you will get your turn.  From what I remember with the last sale, the line moves faster than you think.  AND although you will probably receive an “estimated wait time,” do not leave your computer and come back to it closer to the end of your estimated wait time.  I made this mistake during the last sale and missed my chance to shop, which put me back at the end of the line.  Another tip, do not become impatient and refresh your browser because that will put you back as well.  Just be patient 🙂

2. Have an idea of what you are wanting to purchase.  For instance, I am looking for cardigans, travel pants, baby shifts for Madeline, and Elsa Tops. 

3. Lastly, act quickly during the sale.  Things added to your cart are not reserved, so they will disappear as quickly as you add them.  If you know there is something you want, checkout fast!  But remember, every time you complete checkout, you’ll be placed back in the virtual line again.  One other thing to keep in mind, all items from this sale are final sale. 

Linked below are my favorite picks from the sale!  As for my shopping update, I got on at 8 and was number 150 in line (this sounds so crazy typing this haha) and after five minutes or so was able to shop.  I grabbed up an Elsa, the Bryn Cashmere Cardigan (my most wanted item…obsessed with the ruffles in the back!) and a baby shift for Madeline.
