Happy first day of September! The month of August has never been my favorite month, and I can’t lie that I’m happy to see it go. I am always so excited to welcome the arrival of September! It means we’re that much closer to fall and exactly one month away from October (one of my two favorite months of the whole year). I absolutely love the fall. From fall style to fun fall activities that I always enjoy with Madeline, there’s simply so much to look forward to!
September brings a whole new way to dress. Although it’s still pretty warm outside, you can tell it’s starting to slowly get cooler. For me, that means that I try to dress in darker colors yet continue to wear light-weight pieces to accommodate what this month brings. I feel like September is truly the month to transition to fall. Once October arrives, it’s officially here!
This is my ideal look for September. Y’all know that I have a thing for OTS tops. This one with the tiered details and tassels is absolute perfection! I love this gorgeous color that is called “red spice” and is ideal for fall. Although it’s definitely a fall hue, it’s still very lightweight and perfect for the warmer temps. This top also comes in a gorgeous muted blue color that is also perfect for transitioning. Oh, and it’s under $60 🙂
I also have to touch on these jeans. I have a deep love for high-waisted denim (a mom’s favorite pair haha). I had been looking for a nice pair, and these are definitely them. But the good news is that they’re super on sale! I love the distressed knees. They’re extremely soft and don’t stretch out. I’d call that a total denim win 🙂
