Happy Thursday, friends! One of the things I love most about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finding pieces that you can get tons of wear out of. Not only are there multiple ways to style these pieces for the fall, but you can also style them to transition into fall. There’s that period in late September (at least in the south haha) where your heart says fall, but the weather still says summer. It’s great to have pieces like this cord mini skirt. You can style it for the warmer temps to get you into fall and style it again in the fall.
I purchased this skirt in my very first NSale order and immediately fell in love with it when it arrived. It’s corduroy but light weight enough to easily style it for a transitional look. It’s under $40 on sale! There are very limited sizes left, but I’m crossing my fingers for a full re-stock when early access begins tomorrow. We shall see. One thing I’m certain of is that returns will float in, so keep checking for your size. But it definitely runs TTS. I’m wearing the size EU4 (US 0-2). With this brand, make sure you go by the US sizing, not the EU sizing.
The first way I have it styled is for a transitional look. I absolutely adore this ribbed puff sleeve top. It’s simplistic yet SO cute! The stripes, the colors, and especially the puff sleeves have me loving this piece. It comes in four different color stripe prints and is on sale for under $30! I’m wearing the size XS. You could also style this piece again early fall tucked into high rise jeans with a belt and booties. I absolutely love it. And on my feet for a transitional look, I have these adorable mustard studded mules. These cuties are on sale for under $50 in the NSale and run TTS. Sizes have sold out so quickly in a few of the colors, so hurry and grab them up if you see your size.
For fall, I have the skirt paired with a slouchy sweater. This balloon sleeve sweater is adorable! I love the fit so much. The ivory has pretty much sold out (looking for a re-stock) but the green and rose colors are still in stock. It runs TTS, however it is meant to fit slouchy, which I love. It’s on sale for just $31! I love this look for fall paired with booties or knee high boots. The booties I am wearing here are old (last years NSale actually), because my new pair from this year had not arrived when we shot this look. But I got this pair in the mail the other day, and they are the shoes I plan to pair with this look once fall arrives.
