July 4th Outfit Inspiration for the whole family

Hello friends and happy Thursday! We’re just a week away from July 4th, and if you are still on the hunt for the perfect look to wear, this post is for YOU! I absolutely LOVE a fun patriotic look. In fact, I find myself wearing red, white and blues (along with lots of pink) the most. So putting together some fun mommy and me July 4th looks was pretty effortless and so much fun. 

All of the pieces I’m sharing today are affordable and should arrive to you in time for July 4th. But I also hope that this post will just give you some outfit inspo with pieces you may already own in your closet, for example, a good old chambray top, a white dress, some red shorts, a denim jacket and more. I also have included some fun little accessories, like a pair of red earrings, a polka dot silk scarf, some heart sunglasses and more that will add the perfect little patriotic touch to your looks, if you’re wanting to grab some of them.

Navy & White Polka Dots

This fun festive look is centered around navy + white polka dots (you could also totally do white with navy dots). We then opted for some red accessories to make it officially patriotic and perfect for the 4th! I love the way these fun looks turned out. 

Stars & Stripes

This look is centered around denim. Jean shorts + jean overalls for Madeline. However, we took it a step further and went with start & striped. Madeline actually picked out these star overalls herself. We added in some red to finish off the looks. 

Chambray + Red

This look is centered around chambray. You can easily create a festive look with some chambray. I love this chambray top paired with these red gingham scallop hem shorts (they’re on sale for under $20). Madeline’s entire look is from the same retailer as my shorts, and both of her pieces are on sale for under $20. 

Little White Dress Turned Patriotic

This look is centered around turning a little white dress into a patriotic look. I opted for a denim jacket, some red earrings, red sandals and tied this under $10 polka dot scarf around by bag (you could also wear it around your ponytail or bun).
