Derby Days – Aiken Steeplechase
This past Saturday, I had so much fun attending the Aiken, SC Steeplechase with Jaclyn. It was such an exciting event…as if dressing up in Lilly and wearing a derby hat aren’t fun enough already. We were in search for the perfect derby hats. My boss, who has attended her fair share of horse races and is an avid collector of vintage derby hats, handed me a pile to go through. Jaclyn and I had a blast trying them on with our dresses and choosing the perfect ones.
Don’t you just love derby days! I’m looking forward to this next weekend with the Carolina Cup. Who else is going?

A couple ADPi sisters and I were wanting to go to the Carolina Cup, but our chapter's biggest philanthropy event is late the night before (it begins at midnight), so we didn't think it would be very wise to drive to the Cup early the next day after no sleep! I'm hoping to go next year!
