Madeline’s Newborn Pictures

I am so excited to be sharing Madeline’s newborn pictures with y’all. These pictures of her absolutely melt my heart. Madeline was 13 days old when these photos were taken, and I can’t believe she’s already 5 weeks old. I knew time would fly by fast, but I never imagined it would this fast. It seems like just yesterday I held her in my arms for the first time. She is such a sweetheart.
This weekend, I have been going through Madeline’s newborn pictures along with all of the photos from her birth (with a tissue in hand). Her birth photos have me reliving the long awaited moments of meeting her for the first time. I saw a quote the other day which says, “The moment a child is born, the mother is also born…” and I find that so true. Last Mother’s Day, I never dreamed that I’d be celebrating my first Mother’s Day a year later. From the child’s perspective, I can say that I’ve always loved my Mama so much, but from a Mother’s perspective, I now know the love is even greater. This precious little girl has brought me more joy than anyone or anything. I never knew I could love someone so much, and my love for her grows each and every day. Her little personality is starting to shine through with her expressions, sounds, and of course, her precious smile. My Madeline is the greatest blessing of my life, and motherhood is such a beautiful journey. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with this precious life.
