I’m so excited to be at the beach, and what’s even more exciting about this beach trip is the fact that it’s Madeline’s first. Yesterday we ventured out to the beach for a little while. I was very nervous about taking Madeline out, because she’s so little and too young for sunscreen, but we hid under a sun umbrella for the short time we were out. I was so happy to see how much she loved it! She fell asleep listening to the breeze and ocean sounds. I have an app on my phone of noises to help calm babies, and the ocean noise has always been her favorite. That definitely turned out to be accurate! I love my little beach baby, and I know these are times with her that I know I’ll always cherish.

This cover-up was such a steal from Anthropologie! I love the delicate details, and it is so well made. This sun hat also makes me so happy with the pom poms. Oh how I love beach accessories. Also, if you know me, you know that I love playing with braided hairstyles during the summer. Believe it or not, this hairstyle actually isn’t a braid (see the tutorial I followed here). I love the way it turned out, and the braided look it gives. It’s such an easy hairstyle.

My babies love the beach soo much and this is just the best toy for a beachy baby. It plays ocean sounds, ocean lullaby and projects waves all around a dark room. My little mermaid and pirate each have one for bedtime.
