Top Five For The Week…
Happy Friday, Friends! Here are five of the top things from my week that I wanted to share:
1. A Tribute To Former First Lady, Nancy Reagan
What a legacy Nancy Reagan left. I have enjoyed seeing pictures of her and President Reagan, like this one above, all week. Her elegance, classiness and devotion to her role as First Lady were such an inspiration to all.
2. Local Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store
I was super excited to find out this week that a Lilly Pulitzer signature store, Palm Village, is opening in my hometown! We used to have a Lilly Pulitzer signature store here and it was such a hit. Now we will have one once again! It will surely be a bright spot to our city. I’ve enjoyed following them on Instagram and seeing the shop come to life.
3. New Mom Comics
This certainly was a highlight of my week! One of my friends shared with me this article from Huffington Post on the New Mom Comics. First time mom and comic drawer, Alison Wong, creates these hilarious and oh-so-true comics of the thoughts of a new mom. I know that I can relate to just about each and every one of them. Check out Alison’s website and Facebook page to see more. They are too funny 🙂
4. Life’s A Beach Creation
With spring breaks and summer beach trips being just around the corner, I just had to share this fun little creation that I saw on Pinterest (originally from Daisy & Daydreams Blog). If you like to bring home treasures from the sea, like seashells and beach sand, here is a great way to display the sand! It especially looks nice with the different sands being different colors. It’s a great way to showcase your travels and have a constant reminder of the memories made on those vacations.
5. Easter Treat
Here’s an idea for a fun Easter treat. How cute is this cheese spread molded into the shape of a carrot?! It would be so cute for a child’s birthday party, an Easter party, or even an appetizer for Easter lunch.
