Well, it’s officially here…the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale for January 2017!!! Ahh I am so excited. I decided that today’s post would be the perfect day to style my new favorite tassel poncho from Lilly Pulitzer. Although this exact piece most likely will not be included in the sale, I feel pretty positive that there will be some amazing cashmere pieces! And you can always count on there being a wide selection of Elsa Tops! I actually purchased this one I’m wearing here during the last After Party Sale.

Also, If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this photo that I posted earlier. I just had to share it on here as well, because both the cashmere sweater and top I’m wearing were both purchased during the After Party Sale back in August. The Lilly Wells Cashmere cardigan was originally $278, but I only paid $69 for it in the sale! And the Bailey top was regularly $118, and on sale, I paid only $49 for it. This is just an example of how amazing the deals are! 

I will be updating this post after I shop the sale, sharing what pieces I purchased and will be adding some sneak peeks to what’s in the sale as soon as I am able to get on. *Shopping Update*

Okay, so I know we got off to a rocky start! For me it was, at least. I entered the sale right at 8am and landed at number 2,532 in line. That wasn’t bad at all compared to past years (landing at number 30,000+ in line). BUT then the site started having technical issues and crashed a few times. I even ended up being placed back in line a few times, but ended up getting right back on the site. I remembered to stay calm and just appreciate the fact that Lilly does these sales! So, stay calm! I promise it’s worth the wait.

Once all the kinks were worked out, I was able to get on and shop! The sale is SO good! There are some amazing prints, and a hugeeee selection of Elsa Tops! What did I end up purchasing? Back in the fall, I wanted the Abbott Sweater Vest so badly! I waited too long to purchase it, and it sold out. But now I’m so glad I waited because I got it today for $59 (it was regularly $128). I also got the Elsa Top in Exotic Garden and a solid one in bomber blue (definitely will be a go-to piece for years!). And Madeline also got this baby shift in the same print to match my Elsa Top.  Have you been able to get on and shop yet? If so, do share what goodies you got! 🙂
