Friday Favorites
Happy Friday, Y’all! It seems like forever since I have done a “Friday Favorites” post. This used to be a weekly thing on my blog. I want to start getting back into sharing some of the current things I’m loving with y’all more often. From recent purchases to items I’m loving for Madeline, it’s a great way to share them with you guys. Well let’s jump right into it, shall we?
One: Initial Necklace
I have been on the hunt for the perfect initial necklace for forever! I have a thing for dainty necklaces, and my love for them continues to grow. What I love most about them is when they represent Madeline in some way. I have a delicate bar necklace I wear all the time that says “mama” on it. My hunt for the perfect “M” for Madeline necklace ended when I came across this particular one. I knew that I wanted mine to be solid gold, and I felt this one was a great price for that. It came the other day, and I pretty much haven’t taken it off ever since. I’m absolutely in love with it as it’s everything I ever wanted in an initial necklace.
Two: The All Better Book
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen where I talked about this book on my IG stories. Some of our dear friends gave it to Madeline for her bday this year. It has been an absolute favorite of ours ever since! Madeline loves it so much, and we read it so often that she knows the whole thing by heart. If your child is obsessed with bandaids lol, you need to get this book! The first page includes several plastic-type reusable bandaids. The book tells the story of several different animals who get a boo-boo. The story says to “clean it, kiss it and put a bandage on it.” And thats where your child sticks the bandage to whatever boo-boo the character has (there’s a specific bandaid for each character…the dog, the sheep, etc.). It really is the cutest thing! 🙂
Three: ‘Mon Paris’ Eau de Parfum
Next up on my list is a new fragrance that I have been loving. I am so picky when it comes to fragrances. So many I have used in the past will give me a headache. I also prefer a more light, sweet scent over a floral scent. This one by YSL is amazing! I discovered it at Ulta a ways back and took home a sample to try. Well I loved it so much, and after receiving a 20% off coupon to Ulta via email, I went back to get it. If you’re picky about your fragrances and love a lighter, sweet smell, then I’d give this one a try. It really does smell soooo good.
I finally decided to invest in a good umbrella stroller a few months ago. I love our Uppababy Vista, but sometimes it’s just too large for certain outings. I absolutely love the G-LUXE umbrella stroller. It’s a smooth ride and folds up very easily. I also love how you can fold it up and literally fling it on your back if needed (it’s super lightweight). I couldn’t recommend it enough!
Five: Becca Highlighter
Something else I’m quite picky about is my highlighter. I don’t want one that is too shiny, but I also don’t want something that does’t have enough of a glow to it. I have tried several different ones (four over the past year, to be exact), and this one is definitely my favorite! It also has amazing reviews. It gives a gorgeous, radiant glow that is just enough, in my opinion. I have it in “moonstone.” When I purchased it, I heard that it was the top selling highlighter at Ulta! I highly recommend!
Six: ‘Blis’ Plush Throw
Alright I’m about to circle back around to an Anniversary Sale purchase. But I simply can’t stop raving about this throw. It has become mine (and Madeline’s) favorite. It’s so incredibly soft, and we love to cuddle up with it. It comes in a handful of colors. Even at regular price, it’s still under $40.
Seven: Sweatshirt Dresses
Although number seven on the list is more of a category (however, I do own this particular one), they have been a recent obsession of mine: sweatshirt dresses! There’s nothing quite as comfortable and easy as a sweatshirt dress. The great thing is that there are currently so many cute ones out there for both mamas and littles! They look so cute with a pair of sneakers. I like to throw mine on especially on days after I’ve been working out, running around town and never got the opportunity to get a shower haha. I also just ordered this one and can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m also loving this one and this one for Madeline.
