Hello Friends and happy Wednesday! Today’s post probably goes down as one of my all-time favorite posts on my blog. My favorite posts are actually the ones that I am able to include Madeline in. She’s my everything, and I just feel complete with her. Call me crazy, but when we can coordinate our looks, there’s some sort of completeness that comes along with it! It’s difficult to explain haha, but I’m sure all of you mamas understand 🙂
As life has been becoming more and more crazy with being a mama, running the blog, being in school full time, etc., I have developed a deep love for dressing comfortable. Don’t get me wrong, I still love having a reason to dress up, but comfortable looks are becoming very popular in my life these days. I especially love being able to throw on a look like this after being at the gym.
About a month ago, I discovered my love for sweatshirt dresses. Trust me when I say you need one, especially if you’re a mama. The good news is that there are so many currently out there that have a fun, unique sleeve detail or something to allow you to style it in such a cute way. This one I’m wearing here is almost sold out, but I’m also loving this one and this one. Anyways, my favorite shoes to style with sweatshirt dresses are sneakers, of course. I had always wanted a pair of Adidas Superstar Sneakers, and when I saw the gold pair, I immediately fell in love with them. Then, I saw a matching pair for Madeline…I was immediately sold 🙂 Madeline calls them her fast shoes haha.
I have one thing to say about Madeline’s little outfit: does it come in my size haha? Well I know the sneakers do, but I’m in love with her darling little sweatshirt dress. She was so proud of her tiny purse. Way before Madeline was born, my Mama and I saw a little Kate Spade purse for kids. We had always told each other that my future daughter would have one. Well about a year ago, Mama got one for Madeline! She is just now starting to like her purses. She puts little toys in them just about every time we head out 🙂 She loved that she could wear her bag the exact same way I was wearing mine. I could just eat her (and her precious little personality) up!!
