Me: Navy Velvet Bell Sleeve Dress (Under $70 & up to 25% off!) // Similar Faux Fur Vest // Nude Pumps // Monogram Necklace (35% off with code VIP35) //
Happy Thanksgiving, Friends! I had been saving up this navy velvet mommy and me look to share with y’all today since it’s the perfect holiday look! I came across this little lace dress for Madeline at Target and absolutely could not resist it. When I took it home and saw it on her, I fell even more in love with it. I can’t believe it’s only $19. The gorgeous mustard yellow lace with the navy velvet bow are just the sweetest combination. I immediately started searching for a navy velvet dress for myself and came across this one I’m wearing here. I absolutely love it! It’s so simplistic yet gorgeous. It does run small, so be sure to go up a size. The dramatic bell sleeves add the perfect touch. It’s on sale for under $70 and is up to an additional 25% off of the sale price. Such a great buy! This matching look is so perfect for this time of year and any holiday festivities. I also think it would be the perfect pairing for Christmas card pictures 🙂

I absolutely love Thanksgiving! I’m so excited for today and to share it with the ones I love the most. Each year, I can’t help but look back on the last and just think about the Lord’s goodness to us from year to year and the way He is working in our lives. There is so much to be thankful for! I am most thankful that I get to be the mama to my precious Madeline. The joy she brings and the ways she has changed my life in the most incredible ways makes my heart overflow with gratefulness. Isn’t it crazy how something may happen and we have no idea what the Lord is doing within us. But He has such a beautiful plan for each of us, and it is amazing to see how He can work in our lives. I am constantly reminding myself of how important it is to keep a thankful heart, not only on Thanksgiving, but throughout the entire year. So many times I will grow frustrated with a situation or the business of all that is going on. I will go to the Lord in prayer and feel that frustration even affecting the way I talk to Him. But I think of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and how important is is to always give thanks. Just think about it, there is always something to be thankful for in every aspect of life. So, no matter what it is, give thanks. Give thanks for the joyful parts of life and the questionable ones. If you have something going on right now where all you want to do it question it, instead turn that energy into a way to give thanks as you trust the Lord in what He is doing, the one who loves you more than anything and has a special plan for you. He makes everything beautiful in it’s time. Thank Him for working in your life right this very moment. Always having a thankful heart can do so much for you both mentally and physically.
Give thanks in all circumstances; For God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ~
