Hello friends! I hope your week is off to an amazing start. I don’t know about y’all, but for the past few weeks, I have had to reserve Monday for simply getting my thoughts together for the week. Mondays can be so rough, it seems, so for me it’s a great day for simply plan out your week ahead. Then there’s Tuesday! Sweet, wonderful Tuesday. I love Tuesdays. Monday is behind you, and you can sort of begin to feel like you’re on a great track for the week (some of the time, at least haha). I do really love Tuesdays. Next to Friday, I’d have to say it’s one of my favorite days of the week.
Well not that I’ve rambled about weekdays for a bit, I thought it would be fun to share a little about dressing for the winter while feeling like you’ve got a hint of spring. Yes, white jeans are the answer! I know this is a controversial topic for some haha. I’ll admit, I used to be a firm believer that the “no white after Labor Day” rule was one to stick to. However, now I say it’s just plain silly. I’ll wear my white pants whenever I want, thankyaverymuch 🙂
I am completely over winter, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. One way to dress for winter without feeling so…”winter” is to style your white jeans with cozy sweaters and cardigans. This way, you’re mixing in some winter pieces for warmth with crisp, white, just to remind you that spring will be here before we know it. Throw on a pair of boots or mules and you’re good to go! I honestly love wearing my white jeans all year round. About this time of year is when I especially love pulling them out, and I enjoy them all spring and summer long. The pair I’m wearing here is my all-time favorite mid-rise pair. Yes, I have a favorite high-rise pair as well, but this pair I have probably washed over 100 times and they go back to being good as new each time. They’re soft, stretchy and absolutely amazing! I may order a new pair for this spring.
I can’t end this post without mentioning this cute, mix-knit cardigan. I love the fun touch that the mix knit with contrasting pockets adds. So. Darling. It’s under $60! I love the way it looks paired with grey. Oh, and if you want to know the secret to knotting up the front of your t-shirt as I have mine in this post, purchase one that’s either has slits on the sides or has a rounded hem, like them one I’m wearing here. That detail makes it to where you can tie it up with ease.
Do you wear your white jeans in the winter?
Well, that’s about all I have for today! I hope y’all have the best Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by!
Delightfully Yours,
