Happy Thursday, friends! Madeline and I are back today for a fun mommy and me look. I love this one so much, because it’s so easy. Her little outfit is perfect for everyday play or being out and about. My look is also the perfect everyday look for running errands and simply going about normal day activities. Also, the gorgeous pink blooms everywhere are making me want to wear pink now more than ever haha. I just love this time of the year so very much. When we were taking these pictures, Madeline picked up a few of the flowers. What I didn’t know is that she stuffed them all in the camera bag, and I found them later that night when unpacking everything. I think she shares her Mama’s love for pretty flowers 🙂 Also, I can’t believe we’re already into March!
Now for a little about our looks. My tunic is one of the best things I’ve seen in a really long time. I picked it up over the weekend and have a feeling that I’m going to get tons of use out of it. I’ve already worn it three times since purchasing it! It comes in three colors and is under $80. Here’s why it’s so great. It has a rounded hem in the front and back. Since it has this detail and cuts up higher on the sides, it is such a flattering fit! You can wear it hanging out, wear it front-tucked or wear it knotted. Y’all know that I like to knot or front-tuck everything. Well this tunic is perfect for just that. The soft material makes it so easy to knot or tuck in. I kind of want it in white as well 🙂
Y’all are also very aware of my love for pink and gold. Of course gold accessories were my go-to with this look. These gold disk earrings from Lisi Lerch are to die for! And if you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, you know that I raved over these jeans. Being 5’2, it is so difficult to find jeans that have some cute detail to the hem, while being the appropriate inseam. Most jeans with details such as these and a 28-30 inch inseam. I need a 25-27 inch to fit me properly without having to have alterations done to them. I wanted to celebrate when I found these jeans in a petite size. 1) They are the perfect inseam, so I finally have a pair with a slit and fringe hem. 2) They’re super soft and don’t stretch with wear. 3) They’re currently on sale for $42. Yes, Please!
And lastly, I want to mention a few things on Madeline’s little look. Her darling chambray dress is currently on sale, along with her pink cardigan. What I really want to highlight here are her gold sandals. We have gotten so many compliments on these and moms are always asking me where we got them from. Every time she has them on in my Instagram stories, I also get questions asking where there are from. Well, Target does it again! I not only love these sandals because they are super cute, but also because the don’t have a leather trim in the front. Madeline tends to scuff the leather trim the first time she wears them, no doubt about it. But these are much more durable. They’re currently buy one get one 50% off and come in two other colors!
