Floral Wrap Dress (Under $100) // Pink Statement Earrings // Nude Sandals (also loving these) // Pearl Necklace // “Mama” Necklace // Pearl Bracelet // Bangles // Clare V. Petite Alice Tote // Tassel Pom Bag Charm
Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I was jotting down some things in my calendar last night and couldn’t believe that we are already into the second week of March. It is crazy how fast this year is flying by. This time of the year is especially busy for me. School has been a non-stop process, and I graduate in just over two months (woohoo)! But Madeline’s birthday is in just about three weeks, so I’m also in the process of planning her birthday party. And we have a vacation planned for the week before that. Goodness things seem to be moving at such a fast pace!
Anyways, over the weekend we went to see the most gorgeous blossoms! The early crop of peach blossoms were in bloom this past weekend, and to say they were stunning would be an understatement. Last year we tried to catch them, but they had already bloomed. You seriously feel like you’re walking through a sea of pinks and purples. Of course I had to snap some pictures.
Speaking of, isn’t this floral wrap dress amazing?! I love wrap dresses so much, and this one absolutely shouts spring. I think it would be the perfect Easter dress! I also love how it has your pastel pinks and blues, so if you’re a mama, you could easily coordinate with your child/children for Easter. It’s under $80 and runs TTS. I opted to put a bandeau underneath, because it is a tiny bit too low cut for my liking. And of course, the Clare V. Alice Tote is the perfect finishing touch to this look. I’m telling y’all, whether you carry a lot or just a little bit around in your bag, you need either the regular or petite Alice bag in your life. It is the most amazing accessory for spring and summer.
And I can’t end this post without sharing something else. Back to feeling like my brain is in 1000 places at once, what is missing in these photos?! If you said Madeline, then you’re correct. Being the type that likes to plan, I originally wanted to snap gorgeous pictures with Madeline by the peach blossoms. I had her the perfect dress to coordinate with mine. These were roughly 45 minutes away from where we live, so I didn’t want her dress to wrinkle her dress in the car. I decided I would take it with me and change her when we got there. Well, we get there, and I climbed in the back to change her clothes, only to realize that I forgot the dress 🙁 I was SO bummed and annoyed with myself. I just had to snap a few photos with her anyway. See one of them below:
It wasn’t until that night when I was looking through my camera roll and saw these pictures with her that instantly made me feel so silly for being upset over forgetting her dress. I love this picture so much, and it reminds me of how it doesn’t take much from Madeline to put a smile on my face. It’s little moments like these…the sweetest, most thoughtful little kisses, big bear hugs, hearing her say “I love you”, Eskimo kisses, butterfly kisses, etc. that mean so much. And I truly believe that God wants us to treasure the “little things.” So overall, what I’m trying to say is that will everything always be perfect?! Absolutely not. But there is always something perfect to be found, even when things seem to be a little messy and going in 1000 directions at once. I love my girl (and this photo) so much 🙂 Just thought I’d share.
I hope y’all have a happy Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by.
Delightfully Yours,
