Madeline: White Lace Dress // White Sandals
Hello friends and happy Wednesday! I have to first off say that I’m sorry for being such a bad blogger recently. Things have been absolutely crazy!! Two weeks ago, I was so busy working on school so that we could go out of town. And last week, I was again super busy with school and then it was Madeline’s birthday party and her birthday! Which was such a special time, and I can’t wait to share a post on her Frozen themed birthday party soon. Anyways, I seriously think I puled more all-nighters last week than I ever have. I’m certainly feeling it now haha. It may be a few weeks (I graduate May 11th…woohoo!) before I’m back to my regular 4-5 blog posts a week schedule, so please just bear with me. A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of y’all who have. I just feel like I’ve never had so much on my plate at one time. I know it will all be so worth it in the end! But for now, I have so many cute looks to share with y’all from our trip to Charleston! Today I’m kicking it off with one of my very favorites! Of course it’s a mommy and me look 🙂
I was packing for Charleston and needed a new size in one of the pieces I had ordered. I spotted this darling “Sunny Day dress” (such an appropriate name) in the process, ordered it with two-day shipping and had it arrive just in time for our trip. Is it not the cutest thing?! I have always loved Free People dresses, but in the past, I’ve felt like the ones I’ve had are a little too long and boxy fitting on me, being petite. This one is so perfect, though! It is 33 inched in length, making it the perfect length for me, being 5’2. It comes in a few other colors and definitely runs TTS. Such an adorable piece that I look forward to wearing all spring and summer long. I kind of want it in red as well 🙂
I love it paired with these 3D floral embellished slides. These things are so comfortable, y’all!! I wore them for two out of the four days in Charleston and received so many compliments. My feet were happy with me as well haha. They come in two other colors and are under $100. I also love the way that the Clare V. Alice Bag looks paired with this dress. It’s the perfect spring ensemble, if you ask me.
I had also been dying to finally see Madeline wear this adorable lace dress. It’s one of those pieces where I’m like, “Target does it again!” The quality of this one is seriously better than some of her pieces I purchase from local children’s’ boutiques that costs three times this price. It had me thinking about just how many of her clothes come from Target. I love the pop of yellow added in with her hair bow, as well. Thank goodness for hair bows to coordinate with some of my looks haha. Madeline loved Charleston so much! All the horses and especially the fire department (we made three visits) had her so excited. When we came home, she asked me if we could go back.
I plan to share a complete re-cap of our trip soon. It was such a fun time. I absolutely love Charleston and wish we never had to leave. I’m hoping to squeeze in one more trip there over the next few months. But if y’all would like to see a full post on where we stayed, what we did, where we ate, my favorite streets and more, let me know! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope y’all have an amazing Wednesday.
Delightfully Yours,
