Happy Tuesday, friends! I have a bright and sunny post planned for y’all today. I have always been and will always be a Lilly Girl. If you’ve been following me from the beginning, you know that my blog was founded on my love for Lilly. Over some time, I re-branded to better fit the scope of topics that I blog about, which is when my blog became Something Delightful. But my love for Lilly remains the same. What’s even more fun is being able to twin in Lilly with my very favorite girl. If I purchase a Lilly piece, I actually like to make sure there is a mini style so that Madeline and I can twin haha.
Today we are twinning in the print, “Multi Salt in the Air“. I am wearing the Shelli Stretch Shift Dress, which is amazing. I love it for so many reasons. First off, I love that it’s a more casual style dress that can be worn for everyday shenanigans. You could dress it up with a pair of wedges and throw a cardi over your shoulders for church. Or wear it with flat sandals for everyday. I also adore the little tie detail in the back. What I love most about this dress is the fact that it has (an amazing) built-in bra. That’s a huge win! I’d say it runs TTS. I’m wearing the 0. I love the way that the Lisi Lerch Disk earrings in turquoise pair with this print.
Madeline is wearing the Mini Haper Shift Dress. This is my favorite style Lilly dress for her, because it’s so easy. It’s comfortable enough for her to be able to play in it all day long. The print and details make it perfect for church or out to dinner. But the style is still so comfortable for her. It also washes so easily and does not need to be ironed! Lastly, this dress is great because it runs in the XS, S, M, L, XL sizing for girls. That means the XS is a 2-3, so the dresses I purchased for Madeline in this style last year fit her again this year. Next year, she will probably need the small (4-5) but I love how the sizing can work over two years, for the most part.
Who else is excited that the official first day of summer is just a few days away?! If you’re a Lilly lover, then you know that the first day of summer is also National Wear Your Lilly day! Stay tuned, because we have another fun mommy and me Lilly look coming for y’all on Thursday 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day.
Delightfully Yours,
