Happy Wednesday, guys! I don’t know about y’all, but this week seems to be flying by. I have had such a long list of to-dos after getting back from our beach trip. Trying to tackle them one by one 🙂 Yesterday, I had a busy day of to-dos planned, but I decided to put them all on hold as Madeline and I had the most fun day by the pool. We had a super busy morning, and just as we were about to head out the door, Madeline started begging to go to the pool. That’s when I decided everything else could wait, and I’m so glad I did. We had a chick-fil-a lunch buy the pool, swam for four hours off and on, swung on her swing set, rode scooters and ended up having dinner by the pool as well. We ended the day catching lightning bugs and letting them go. Our kiddos never fail to make life exciting and spontaneous. Overall, Madeline always reminds me to sit back, take a deep breath and simply enjoy the little moments. Because I know those are the ones I’ll cherish forever. As I was putting her to bed tonight, we started to re-cap our day, as we always do before bed-time. I asked her what was her favorite part of yesterday. And she started naming every single thing we did. So we then thanked the Lord for such a fun day. Whew I got off topic haha, but I just had to share because it definitely reminded me to slow down. I woke up this morning with such a happy heart. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t forget that’s it’s okay to set things aside to take a breather and enjoy what’s most important.
Since I’ve already talked y’alls heads off, I’ll keep the outfit details of today’s post short and sweet. Overall, this white eyelet wrap dress is so gorgeous and reasonable priced! Since it’s petite sizing, I went up one size from my usual. I just love the details. These wedges have been an absolute go-to of mine. They’re so versatile! I love that they’re a platform but not too high. They’re currently on sale!
